Weeks 7 & 8, I see the FINISH LINE!!

Body: I'm getting used the pain in my knees, its just the norm now. The pain in my shins has lessened since I found a new stretch to do before our workout online :)

Learning: I've learned that even though I'm pushing myself harder than before I reach physical exhaustion sooner, doesn't necessarily mean it's bad just need to rest and get right back into it!

Observing: That nutritious food is feeding not only my tummy but that it also affects my energy level, my state of mind, and how tired my body feels physically. I notice my cheat meals are zappers! LOL don't like the way I feel afterwards.

Goals: I was able to alleviate the pain in shins and calves just need to figure out what to do for my knees. The AM workouts were a no go since I'm too tired to get up that early!! I have continued to push myself in all my workouts.

Set Next Weeks Goals:
  • Get more sleep!
  • Do the 6AM Bootcamps!
  • Think of options for workouts since I won't be able to afford to pay for 7 Kazaxe/Bootcamp classes per week now! :'(

Recap of Week 6 :)

Body: I'm having to ice my knees and shins every night because I'm in pain. I pretty much limp around all day, hoping the pain eases with time.

Learning: I learned a lesson the hard way in the last few weeks: STRESS will mess with my progress!!! The stress in my life caused me to make poor nutritional choices and the scale hurt because of it. I only lost 1 pound in the last week :'( but it served as a wake-up call that I cannot let the craziness of life interfere with my goals. I've set getting fit as my first goal to be checked off my list, if I can do this I can do all the other things I've pushed back and have not accomplished. I need this to prove to myself that I do have strength, commitment and will power!

Observing: Once I pushed myself out of my 2 friend bubble at BTC I quickly bonded with my Test Group mates :) We happily share stories, highs and lows, and help each other out. I'm really going to be sad when this is all over but I hope we all keep it up and continue making BTC a part of our lives! <3

Goals: Last weeks goals were pretty much accomplished. I was able to get more sleep, go running :) and keep a budget.

Set Next Weeks Goals:
  • Find better ways to alleviate the pain in my shins, calves and knees.
  • Try morning workouts before work.
  • Continue pushing myself further in all my workouts!! BTC, KZX and running :)

Week 5 Weekend Workouts the WWW's LOL

So Friday I started it off with a 3.5 mile run with Natasha. We haven't run together since the 2nd or 3rd weekend of the BTC test group and I've only run on my own once in between then on the treadmill so I was surprised at how well I did!! We started at 7pm so the sun had already set but the cool night was refreshing for our run. I had much more endurance, stamina and strength to go further than I had gone before with less pain. It was during this run that I realized how far I've come! How hard I've worked and how well my body is adapting. I was so proud! :) We then did core workout and lets just say I was exhausted from the run so this was extremely difficult. Natasha had upped my set amount to 25 from 15 per set and I felt it hard/painful. My core is definitely the weakest!! I'm going to need to continue pushing hard and possible attend Maia's Wednesday 8:50pm bootcamp session to help.

On Saturday the rain kept us from running outdoors so I opted for attending 12:50PM Kazaxe. I had never taken a class with Farrah but I really enjoyed it! : ) It was so nice to walk in and actually know people and say hello. I saw Flo, Frances and our very own Marketa graced us with her presence on stage!

Sunday we met again for another run with a light drizzle :) , this time only 1.8 miles but concentrated more on weights and core workout. The workout didn't seem as painful as Fridays but still very good.

So my weekend workout goal was reached! YIPPEEEEE! ....and I guess I don't HATE running anymore just....ehhhh
